On 28 May, Prof. Huang-Chih Sung, Leading Researcher of the Supply Chain Resilience Center, and Dr. David Emler, director of SCRC, visited the VR-1 “Sparrow” Training Reactor, operated by the Department of Nuclear Reactors at Czech Technical University (CTU).  The visit was hosted by Dr. Filip Fejt, manager of the facility, who provided an in-depth tour and expert commentary. Discussions focused on Czech electricity production, the strategic importance of nuclear energy, and the public perception of nuclear technologies.  This insightful visit contributed to a broader understanding of energy resilience and highlighted opportunities for further collaboration between SCRC and CTU in areas related to critical infrastructure, energy sustainability, and public policy engagement.
