Prof. Huang-Chih Sung participated in the “Roundtable: Involvement of the Liberec Region in the Semiconductor Ecosystem.” The event took place on November 12, 2025, at Meeting Point, Lipo.Ink, in Liberec. During his presentation, Prof . Sung emphasised the importance of providing ultra-pure water and recycling wastewater in IC fabrication processes.

The event was co-financed by the European Union and organized by ARR (Agentura regionálního rozvoje) and the Liberec Region. The roundtable was supported by various stakeholders, including CzechInvest, which also served as a partner and the event’s host. The overall goal was successfully achieved, fostering lively collaboration and insightful discussions about the semiconductor ecosystem, with the Liberec region playing a prominent role.
