Supply Chain Resilience Center Welcomes Prof. Tsung-Chi Cheng

Our Supply Chain Resilience Center is honoured to welcome another distinguished foreign expert. As part of our ongoing project, Prof. Tsung-Chi Cheng from the Department of Statistics at National Chengchi University (NCCU) in Taipei has arrived to join the research team at SCRC, Charles University as a visiting scholar and key contributor to our analytical research initiatives.

Prof. Cheng is a highly respected statistician and professor in the Department of Statistics within the College of Commerce at NCCU, one of Taiwan’s leading research universities renowned for its excellence in social sciences and quantitative disciplines. His primary research expertise encompasses robust regression diagnostics, longitudinal data analysis, and categorical data analysis, with additional contributions to methods addressing missing data challenges in statistical modeling. Prof. Cheng’s academic work has been recognized through multiple internal honors at NCCU for research excellence and internationalization.

During his stay at Charles University, Prof. Cheng will be actively engaging in research activities at the Supply Chain Resilience Centre and will also be available for lectures and consultations with both students and the academic community. We are confident that his presence will enrich our research environment and foster new perspectives and knowledge exchange across disciplines.
