During the Czech Semicon Days on May 13th, SCRC’s distinguished host and former Vice President for R&D at TSMC, Prof. Konrad Young was featured in an interview on Czech Television’s main news program titled “Události.” In the interview, Prof. Young emphasized Czech Republic’s strategic position in the global semiconductor industry, highlighting its robust industrial base, skilled workforce, and growing research capabilities. He advocated for increased collaboration between Czechia and Taiwan, particularly in areas such as research and development, talent exchange, and supply chain integration. Prof. Young also highlighted that it is important to know “what kind of product is better for Czech Republic” on the semiconductor supply chain market in other to maintain its resilience.
