Professor Chuang, a Taiwanese expert in semiconductor technology and a researcher within the SCRC project, emphasized in an interview with Hospodářské noviny that the Czech Republic has a unique opportunity to become a key player in the semiconductor industry. According to him, government involvement is essential in fostering investments, innovation, and education in this sector.

Professor Chuang highlighted Taiwan’s successful model, where strategic cooperation between the state, academia, and industry has led to a strong position in the global supply chain. He suggested that the Czech Republic could capitalize on this opportunity by creating a stable and predictable environment for the development of semiconductor technologies.
