On March 10th, a productive meeting took place between the representatives of SCRC and TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council). SCRC Director, Dr. David Emler, had a conversation with TAITRA’s Director, Peter Fan, about the ways how to explore opportunities for potential future cooperation. They also exchanged information about the activities and priorities of both organizations.

During the discussion, TAITRA introduced its key initiatives and ongoing programs aimed at supporting international trade, this year’s trade shows, strengthening business partnerships, and promoting collaboration between companies and institutions. SCRC also presented its current activities, projects, and areas of focus that could be interesting for TAITRA to explore. Both sides shared their experiences and discussed how their respective networks and expertise could complement each other. Therefore, the discussion laid the groundwork for future communication and possible joint events or collaborations that could benefit both parties.
