On June 26, 2026, SCRC organized a study visit to Wistron, one of the leading Taiwanese technology companies operating in the Czech Republic. The delegation was warmly welcomed by General Manager Eric Lin, who personally guided the group through the company’s facilities. During the visit, Mr. Lin introduced Wistron’s operations, explaining the company’s role within the global electronics industry, its activities in the Czech Republic, and the wide range of career opportunities available for young professionals. The delegation gained valuable insight into the company’s working environment, innovation processes, and international outlook. As a special gesture of hospitality, the NCCU delegation was invited to participate in the Wistron Family Day, reflecting the company’s welcoming culture and strong commitment to building relationships with academic partners. SCRC sincerely appreciates Mr. Eric Lin for his generous hospitality, personal engagement, and the informative tour!
Furthermore, in the afternoon, the delegation visited CEITEC (Central European Institute of Technology), one of the Czech Republic’s leading research centres, where the program was arranged with the support of Prof. Tomáš Pitner from the CyberSecurityHub. The tour was led by Dr. Pavel Krečmer, CEITEC BUT Deputy Director for External Relations and Science Support, who introduced the delegation to CEITEC’s state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and cutting-edge research infrastructure. Participants had the opportunity to learn more about the semiconductor wafer fabrication process and the advanced technologies employed in materials science and microelectronics research.
Dr. Krečmer also presented CEITEC’s educational activities, highlighting the strong participation of students in STEM disciplines and discussing opportunities for international exchanges and research collaboration. SCRC would like to express its sincere appreciation to CEITEC for hosting the delegation and for the excellent organization of the visit!
