Our SCRC centre, which focuses on cutting-edge research and international cooperation, is honoured to welcome a distinguished foreign expert. As part of our project, Prof Dr Yih-Chyi Chuang, Distinguished Professor from National Chengchi University in Taipei, has arrived in Prague. Prof. Chuang will join the research team at Charles University as a leading researcher and will be here until February 2024.

Prof. Chuang is an internationally renowned expert in economics, with a particular focus on macroeconomics, economic growth and international trade. His presence at Charles University represents a significant opportunity to strengthen cooperation between our institutions and to promote the exchange of knowledge and expertise on a global scale.

During his stay, Prof Chuang will be actively involved in research activities at our SCRC centre and will also be available for consultations and lectures for the academic community and students at Charles University. We believe that his presence will bring valuable insights and contribute to the advancement of our academic and research environment. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration and the new perspectives that his involvement will bring!
