On December 11 2025, the Faculty of Law at Charles University will host a round-table discussion on one of the most pressing issues facing today’s interconnected world: the growing importance of economic security and the transformative impact of international sanctions on global supply chains. The event, titled “Ekonomická bezpečnost a sankce jako nové výzvy pro globální dodavatelské řetězce,” will take place in Room 412 of the Faculty of Law. The event will be conducted in Czech.
The event will feature two leading experts on economic security and data-driven policy analysis:
Ing. Lenka Hojerová, Head of the Economic Resilience Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic
PhDr. Ing. Jiří Skuhrovec, PhD., Data Analyst and Economist, Datlab Institute
The round table will be moderated by JUDr. Ondřej Svoboda, Ph.D., from the Department of International Law at the Faculty of Law, Charles University. Dr. Svoboda is the author of two legal guides for Taiwanese companies focused on foreign investment screening and export controls.
